Doctoral Candidate

Expected graduation: Dec 2016
Thesis Title: Increasing hosting capacity of distribution systems for renewable distributed generation by means of network reconfiguration
Email: mghiafeh@uncc.edu

Masoud has more than 8 years of experience in power system studies, including integration and impact analysis of distributed generation on distribution systems, power system protection and fault location, and modelling, analysis and simulation of transmission and distribution systems. Masoud joined the team in Fall 2012. He holds a BS and an MS from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Iran, and an MS form UNC Charlotte.
