Exploration of thermoelectric properties of 1D nanostructures

This is a collaborative project with Dr. Deyu Li at Vanderbilt University, who has an unique technique to measure transport properties of individual 1D nanostructures. We are exploring the relationship between microstructure and thermoelectric property of 1D nanostructures. The ultimate goal of this project is to create a new class of thermoelectric materials for high temperature generation.
