Welcome

Improving human health is currently undergoing an explosion of attention led by the use of magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs) to deliver medical drugs to diseased (cardiovascular diseased or cancerous) sites and cells within the human body. As scientists and instrument builders, our goal is to develop instruments to assist in the development of potential treatment and diagnostic modalities for cardiovascular disease and cancer.  For more details on our research, please visit our research projects page.

We are actively seeking talented graduate and undergraduate students who are interested in honing their experimental and theoretical skills to assist in developing new measuring instruments, experimental setups, and computational models. In particular, we are looking for candidates who are interested in developing experimental and computational models studying medical drug delivery in the cardiovascular system and cell separation in microfluidic channels.
