Return to Sport Analysis

Have you ever wondered why you don’t produce the same power, smoothness, speed or recovery times even though you train as hard as others? When the biomechanics are faulty, the efficiency reduces and we often try to resolve it by tweaking the bicycle instead of evaluating our own mechanics. Some riders with unequal leg length and/or strength find that they must adapt themselves to their bicycles. This causes inefficient pedaling, resulting in reduced power output and pain. Some common symptom in these cases include,

  • Knee and Back pain,
  • Ligament irritation
  • Muscle and joint soreness
  • Fatigue greater on one side of the body

The first and most critical step to resolving these problems is to analyze your individual pedaling style and determine your specific needs.
