The Munir Lab is located at Room 3186 in EPIC Building, Civil and Environmental Engineering Department of UNC Charlotte. We have access to a variety of shared resources for physicochemical and biological analyses in the Environmental Engineering Lab. Our lab is fully equipped for microbiological and molecular biology experiments including, but not limited to:
- Biological safety cabinets (class II type A2)
- Ultra-low freezer (-80 degC and -20 degC) (eppendorf)
- QiaCube automation system (Qiagen)
- Quantitative PCR machine (Biorad)
- Thermocycler (Biorad)
- NanoDrop Spectrophotometer

- Shakers and incubators
- Centrifuges
- IDEXX Quanti-Tray sealer Plus
- Epimotion (Eppendorf)
We also have access to various state-of-the-art chemical, microscopy, bioinformatics and other labs in entire campus.
