Ms. Emil Leuken won second place in the 2012 ASCE National Paper Competition “Mead Paper” on “Sustainability through Globalization”.
Mr. Talwar Mandeep won the third prize in the 1987 ASCE National Paper Competition sponsored by the Hazardous Waste Management Committee for his paper, “Mix Design of Soil Liner for Hazardous Waste Landfill.”
Austin G. Mullins, “The Effect of Admixtures on Pollutant Migration in Soil Liners”, won second prize and cash award in the 1990 ASCE national Paper Competition on “Hazardous Waste Management” (Graduate Students Division.)
